Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Bonn to call for more action to fight climate change. The US was the focus of a lot of anger, and has been since President Donald Trump withdrew his country from the Paris Agreement in June this year.
Also present in Bonn were American delegates representing some 50% of the US economy. They were at the UN Climate Conference in Germany to voice their support for urgent climate change and to strongly condemn President Donald Trump’s environmental policy.
They emphasised their commitment to fighting climate change – despite Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris Accord.
